it's pretty amazing, it's just very... confusing? except not really

it's just a very, very weird book

it's so weird you just go with it, and every other page it's like BAM MORE WEIRDNESS and it's non-stop... so in the end you're just exhausted and unable to process anything

My fellow anon is correct. Also, the point of the book is, it's about a book called The King in Yellow, that if you read it, it drives you mad. So you don't really know if the narrators in the loosely-connected stories are really reliable because of The King in Yellow, or if the actual king him/itself is doing all this.

I know it's a really tired plot thing these days, but this was, IIRC, the first time it was really laid out like this, and is definitely worth a read.
