Re: Why does "aged well" matter?

It matters because mostly when people say that they mean it is offensive compared to modern moral and social standards or that it no longer holds the same shock value or interest due to changes in movie making.

What people are saying when something hasn't aged well is that it isn't as good or watchable as it once was. That matters because you don't want to watch something unwatchable (most of the time).
