Ted Cruz once asked . . . some government official, I can't find his name, if there was a way to beat ISIS in 90 days. That person responded that ISIS cannot be defeated militarily. Its defeat will come when no one wants to support it anymore.

Cruz was asked this same question at the debate, and he called that answer "nonsense." "What we need is a commander in chief that makes clear, if you join ISIS, if you wage jihad on America, then you are signing your death warrant."

That really sums the whole party up, doesn't it? Here's the answer that seems reasonable, and here's the answer that makes us feel righteous. Guess which one we're picking?

And yet, wasn't Cruz one of the ones crying when one of Obama's drones killed an American in league with terrorists because "that was an American!! He had RIGHTS!!!!"

Nah pretty sure Cruz didn't give a shit about that. You might be thinking of Rand Paul.
