No. Baby animals are NOT photoprops. You don't take them from their mothers, put them in extremely stressful situations with lots of strange people and loud noises, get them used to being handled by humans all for "conservation". In fact, I question what asshole "conservation" group had these baby animals in the first place - especially in the case of big cats, you do NOT breed in captivity.

Conan is a fucking dick for supporting that, and probably false conservation groups and "pseudo-sanctuaries". Though Conan is stupidly unfunny anyway, so I suppose that's not the least of his problems.

but...

there is when he handle a scene, with the vulture thing... a "federick kruger" frog, crocodile...

...quite funny to me.

so anon above me, you work for peta?....

Did you seriously just try to pull a peta insult, because I am more concerned for the welfare and responsible care of exotic animals than I am Conan's stupid comedy? No, anon, I do not work for peta, I just happen to give a shit about animals, unlike Conan, apparently.

My first thought was PETA as well

"doesn't like to see baby animals being taken advantage of for cheap laughs? must be PETA."

Da

So what about Carson, Letterman, Kimmel, Fallon, Meyers? All traditional-format late night comedian-hosts have animal segments, using different handlers from zoos and conservation groups. Most of the time the hosts are visibly uncomfortable but audiences enjoy seeing new creatures, and it gives the handlers a national platform to promote their efforts. Conan's tendency to interrupt the handlers is annoying but the bit itself is not new or limited to him, so I don't get the vehemence?

I'm opposed to any talk show host doing a segment like that, absolutely. And I'm opposed to any zoo or false conservation group that breeds animals, especially big cats, at all - breeding an animal for life in captivity using run-down incest genes itself is absolutely despicable in the first place - but then taking those animals, ripping them away from their mothers, unnaturally handling them (THEY ARE WILD!) and putting them in majorly stressful situations just so people can laugh and go "aww" at a dumb comedian trying to make the situation funny? No respectable "conservation" group would do ANY of that, and any group that uses animals as photo opportunities is not a real conservation group.

Again, I hate any comedian who does that. I just especially hate Conan for being annoying in a way completely unrelated to the animals, too.
