Yeah dude, I'm aware there was some possibility of a scene or two pertaining to Spock/Uhura having some kind of attraction; I'm saying she might mean that this whole ongoing candid RELATIONSHIP between them might be something that feels like a PROFESSIONALISM issue when considering how the original series was written. I didn't say anything about racism, though that is definitely relevant; it's been said at some point that they were basically pushed to do with Christine Chapel the kind of adoration they'd planned with Uhura, which IMO should give a frame of reference for how it wasn't exactly headed into epic love story territory.
