your opinion is exactly as valid and as meaningful as that of anyone brainwashed by media (ie, not at all) because you're making it based on exactly the same amount of information (ie, virtually none)

Exactly, it's an opinion, I'm not saying that it's the 100% truth here, it's just what I believe because of how I perceive her to be, as well as many others perceive her to be. She's not that great of a person, it's my personal view that she's a sociopath. So no, I'm not brainwashed by media because I don't believe her to be the next popstar princess or whatever bullshit name she's been given.

my point, i guess, is that 'sociopath' is an insanely strong negative opinion to hold, and it's much to strong for it to possibly be justified with the relatively scant amount of information you get about a person from social media

it's fine to think she's not the 'next popstar princess', idgaf, but it really bugs me when people get these insanely strong opinions about people based entirely on their media presentation, which is a really specific slice of who they are, with at best a tenuous relation to reality. it's just as stupid as an overly positive love of a celebrity, but it seems more harmful and worse to me because it's negative and hateful
