If you're not going to use the search and filter, then of course your results are going to be terrible. Why is that FFnet's fault rather than your responsibility?

AYRT - Sometimes I do search, and still find bad results. I don't have as much time as I used to to wade.

I search and filter and still find crappy fics on AO3 as well. Fewer of them, to be sure, but only because AO3 has fewer fics overall. The ratio is still the same.
