Re: Bizarre Crossover Plot Bunny Thread
FFVII/ATLA
The idea is that the ATLA world is the future of the FFVII world, where the Planet decided that having mako and materia everywhere was a bad idea. So instead of it lying around for people to take, people are born with materia as part of them, and that's the bending.
However, somebody from the Fire Nation finds the Black Materia and they think that's actually what Sozin's Comet was - so they promptly summon Meteor, though since summons haven't been used for thousands of years it takes hell of a lot longer.
The Planet realizes this is not good, and brings Cloud back in order to stop Meteor once again.
Thing is, Cloud is stuck in this world that he doesn't know, and he doesn't know why he's there. He doesn't have materia, so his magic is limited, and he doesn't have his sword. He is still stupidly powerful, though, and has his limits.
He also can't speak the language, and doesn't know about Meteor yet.
Cloud quickly runs afoul of a lot of people. He's eye-catching, and what's more, there are rumours spreading that he's a "second avatar", because he figures out that he can "use" people to cast spells, instead of materia. The whole situation is very annoying for him, though, especially when Zuko fails to get one Avatar, and decides that he'll try for Cloud instead.
Zuko is pissed off as hell about him, because Cloud is physically strong beyond belief, which Zuko finds frustrating.
Ultimately, the story would have Cloud and Zuko bonding, Cloud trying to figure out hth to stop Meteor when he doesn't have Holy, Cloud figuring out what it's like to live in a world that for all its horrors, is a lot nicer than the previous one - and how to actually make friends, again, based on something more than saving the world together.
Also something about the Avatar being the last link to the Cetra, or maybe Aeris herself "became" the first Avatar.
idk, I don't really have anybody to hash this out with, so it's kind of messy. None of my ficcing friends know both canons well enough.

(Anonymous) 2015-08-10 04:49 am (UTC)(link)Yes. Jeff's uncle somehow got turned into a pony before Jeff was born, and it ended up being irreversible.
Re: Bizarre Crossover Plot Bunny Thread
That's the sum of my reason.
SGA / MIB
Or, some random balding dude in a black suit breaks into Sheppard's house, yells at him about aliens like a crazy person when John points a gun at him, and then something outside makes John's entire house explode.
Crazy MIB adventures ensue, including MIB Director Elizabeth Weir, Agents T and R, Sheppard touching everything in McKay's lab, noobs with noisy crickets, a Wraith invasion, the demolishing of the MIB HQ, aliens with radioactive poop (which they poop into
bucketsspecial bucketsextremely complex and delicate battery packs that could only have been the work of a genius which then fuels MIB weapons, thank you), guns that go pew, ships that go fast, cool alien things that explode, and despite Sheppard's obviously messed up priorities in the face of very serious business, J(ohn) and (Mc)Kay saving the worldRe: SGA / MIB

Re: SGA / MIB
(Anonymous) 2015-08-10 02:23 am (UTC)(link)MCU/The Good Wife
(Anonymous) 2015-08-10 12:25 am (UTC)(link)Before Georgetown Alicia was in a relationship with Nick Fury. They were even married for a while. It was a teenage whirlwind love affair and she asked him for a divorce before she even entered college. As Fury rose through the ranks and eventually became director of SHIELD the marriage got covered up so that Alicia wouldn't become a target for Fury's and SHIELD's enemies (the whole family even received a name change after the divorce, was moved and had their ages messed with, just as a safety measure. Alicia is actually a couple of years older than she's supposed to be).
Part of Veronica and Owen's resentment towards Peter stems from the fact that they believe that Nick would have been the better choice for Alicia (they blame him for her becoming so docile and uptight).
She knows that Fury's stalking her from a far. They remained friends, though Fury's job means they hardly ever get to see each other. When the scandal broke he paid her a visit, lurking in the dark like a creep and offering to destroy Peter (she declined, but it was the thought that counts). A couple of agents are always posted around her and her family just in case and after the events of TWS the first thing he did was check up on Alicia and her family.
!!!
(Anonymous) 2015-08-10 01:11 am (UTC)(link)Re: !!!
(Anonymous) 2015-08-10 01:50 am (UTC)(link)Being ignored would piss Peter off so much, it would be beautiful. Alicia totally would have a higher security clearance than her husband because Fury is a total sap who wanted to share everything with his wife and something stupid like a security clearance wouldn't get into his way. And because Fury is a total dick he would mention or reference classified things just so Peter would be forced to ask what they are talking about and Fury could just smirk and go "classfied" and watch Peter get more and more pissed off. Fury is a troll.
I have thought way too much about it. If it weren't such a total crack pairing/crossover I would have totally written fic about it. It's eaten my brain!
Re: Bizarre Crossover Plot Bunny Thread
The first one is a Generator Rex/Oblivion crossover. I once ended up sitting down and working out how Rex's builds would work in the setting of Oblivion's magic system, and the idea sort of spiraled out from there.
The second one is a Dragon Age Origins/Ocarina of Time fic that basically puts Link and Zelda into the Dalish and City Elf origins and makes Ganon the Archdemon.
People need to stop leaving me alone with my notebook, because this is what happens.
