I kind of love 'could care less' in a weird way, because it does make sense...because technically, if you're talking about something, you have to put even minimal effort/thought into it, and therefore it would be possible for you to care less. So really, you're just stating a fact.

I like it because for me it sounds like, sure, I could care less than I do now, but already I give so few fucks it's not even worth bothering with. Whatever I could care less about isn't even the thing I care the least about, it's just run off the mill thing that's not even insignificant enough to be note-worthy of being not note-worthy.

I do use "couldn't care less" myself because I know it's the right one. But seeing other people use "could care less" amuses me.
