No one thinks what you're claiming be cause hardly anyone even remembers that scene about such a minor character. The only one who seems to be seriously claiming that some non existent hivemind thinks all characters are irredeemable is you and OP. You're so determined to play the morally right martyr that you're outright ignoring the fact a good portion of the fandom agrees with you. Redeemability is a giant trope across all these fandoms. A giant popular trope.

It comes from the pressure to flagellate yourself for liking flawed characters and make it clear that at least you know they're flawed and don't woobify or try to redeem them for being problematic.
