What do you consider the worst? because I can't find Gen Star Trek fic to save my life.

I don't think I've ever come across a gen Sherlock fic. It's like 95% Johnlock, 4% Mystrade, and 1% miscellaneous shipping.

I feel like people do write Sherlock fics that are basically gen

they just always throw at least a little scoop of Johnlock in there as well

Hey, I wrote a story about Anthea that had NO shipping it it (hell, Sherlock's not even in it), but construction of the story did require lots of special equipment and a very peculiar set of meteorological conditions.

Worst fandoms I've seen for Gen Fic are Star Trek (though I am focusing on McCoy-centric fic) and Inception.
