Re: What is on your plate for the week

[personal profile] diet_poison 2015-08-11 02:49 am (UTC)(link)
I'm off today because I worked this past weekend, so I have four days of work this week. Whether it's stressful depends largely on how much time my boss spends on second shift. Fortunately, she doesn't like second shift, so she typically doesn't spend much time on it unless she has to to. I'm a little stressed out at some stupid procedures we have to do for some hospital deliveries and one of the hospital labs isn't doing their job right at all and the whole thing is dumb, and my boss hates it too, and we all hate it, and it's time-consuming, and I'm stressed about getting it right because someone, like, four paygrades above my boss is threatening to make heads roll if it's not done right. But fortunately one benefit to being the bottom of the barrel in a large company is that as long as I follow my boss' instructions to the letter as best as I can, I'm probably not going to get in trouble for whatever goes wrong, personally.

Hopefully they'll streamline that procedure soon.
