I admit to sharing some of your sentiments, but I think the fandom has some really awesome stuff to offer too. Not gonna go OMG YOU MUST STAY IN THE FANDOM IT IS THE BEST OMG because all fandoms have their... dark sides, more or less. But every time you let an annoyance win it lowers the proportion of less annoying people in fandom. So, think of us? (I jest, I jest. I'm just sorry someone ruined it for you, though as you can see from the comments it's not a completely foreign sentiment)

I find this hilarious since when I was first feeling out the fandom that seemed like all the fic I could find was for that pairing. Then again, different times different corners.

Eh. There's a lot of fic, but quality trumps quantity (supposedly) and the quality of the fics is... Well, many of the better writers have moved on to bigger and better things.

i have been trying to zone her out, and i do manage to catch some awesome fanworks on the community but most of the time i ignore the community posts out of annoyance.

i won't give up reborn and i still check the community, but her posts are just... wow. although i tend to be in smaller fandoms so i may just have a low tolerance to stereotypical yaoi fangirls.

There's also This (http://community.livejournal.com/reborn_news/profile) which really helps for commspam/to find what you want when things are posted! That way you can unfriend the comm if the number of posts get overwhelming or something.

I admit that Reborn is one of my larger fandoms in and while and sometimes it's a bit overwhelming. But at the same time because we're such a big fandom we get some really awesome side bonuses. So the bad comes with the good. (And, I think my brief stint in the Harry Potter fandom desensitized me.)
