48. For me there was TOO MUCH sugary crack for my tastes. :( I read the whole thing, but it just gave me a headache and made me want to go read something very srs bzns.

52. Well if it helps any, both my parents love the anime. And they're senior citizens. They wouldn't be able to handle reading tiny little manga format, but they're loving the story on tv. (My dad does a hilarious imitation of Ryuuk.) I doubt anyone would be making fun of them for liking it; if anything, younger people think they're kind of cool.

#48: Not all of us can do sugary crack + rape, too, and I'm not sure what's so defective about that.

Thanks. I love the anime, actually, but there's less rape in the anime. I'm all for less rape.

Yeah less rape (especially less romanticized rape) is preferable to me too.
