one of my fandoms is about Protestant fanatics Catholic zealots fighting demons and each other... so there's really no getting away from it Is that Hellsing by any chance? I love that series ^_^

The character (Shadow) is more of a Villain turned anti hero but yeah my thoughts exactly. He’s from Sonic the hedgehog which has no overt references to Christianity at all.
