I should reread that book.

On a similar note, I've kind of been thinking for a little while that, as much as people have mocked it for a long time, Orson Scott Card's depiction of the Internet in Ender's Game gets closer to reality every year. When you have serious politicians doing shit like AMAs. (Of course OSC still a shit who should be roundly mocked for other reasons)

I need to read these books. (yah yah I should burn my fan card I know) Every time I start A Fire Upon the Deep, I just never go back to it. IDK why.

I'm not sure I'd recommend it. It turns out to be a lot darker than it initially seems, to the point that all the suffering and doom got kind of tiresome.
