Dorothy Gale from The Wizard of Oz (Judy Garland was a teenager, but the character is supposed to be younger).

And every kid from an adaptation of a Roald Dahl book (Matilda, James, Charlie, the nameless kid from The Witches who was called Luke in the movie... there's probably a few others I missed).

I liked her character more when I realized she was a sixteen year old playing an eight year old. I honestly thought she was supposed to be an incredibly naive (maybe a little slow?) teenage girl.
