You're peeved but do you realize that if an FF7 remake goes over well they now have the grounds to submit further remakes for other games?

Not ayrt but honestly? I'm a fan of ff7 and I'm still skeptical this is opening grounds for a remake for other FFs that have been neglected.

FFV was light on story and characterization, and Bravely Default has carried on with a job system so there's not much need to remake it just for that.

FFVI...seems a bit more likely, but honestly it seems like it should have already been done if they were going to.

yeah i am and i have a right to be peeved just as much as ffvii fans can be pleased. VI is honest to god the red headed step child of the franchise at this point and isn't very accessible compared to VII. I would rather that than the continued milking of VII esp. when square stated not far back that "final fantasy is officially dead the day we have to remake VII"
