Re: Asexuality, demisexuality, etc

come on, just because someone chooses to adopt the pansexual label or not adopt the bisexual label doesn't make them automatically a biphobe

are you one of those people who think not identifying as a Feminist makes you anti-equality, too?

i understand that you're annoyed at pansexuals who are biphobes but that's hardly a good reason to paint them all with the same brush, because now you've gone full anti-pansexual yourself

Except that's exactly what it is, pansexual people are either ignorant of what bisexuality means or don't want to be called transphobic/etc because of people who don't know shit.
Seriously, what is different between bi and pan?

NA Well, you've just defined your idea of pansexual and then said I have won the argument, there's no difference! That's poor reasoning.

Where I com from (irl not tumblr) it means a bunch of different things, such as "I am young and with it", "I am genderqueer", "I like genderqueer / trans / gender diverse people", "I am not attracted to body parts", "I don't believe in a gender binary". Some people are careful to define themselves as bisexual NOT pansexual, as well as the other way round. Labels are hard.

NA
If you're happy to feel you won then congrats, I guess. I understand your point but your examples still are typically bisexual, there's no differences except "I am young" and that has nothing to do with sexuality (but maybe with overlabelling, misunderstanding and the need to be a special snowflake as many teenagers like to be (tho I'm not judging them, it's normal to feel that way around that age))
