Talking of baseball, I've been thinking about starting to follow my minor league team, and the worst of the August heat has broken, but I don't have any money, so I guess I won't really.

I don't know the extent you meant "follow," butyou should definitely try and make it to some games! I do hear MiLB games are pretty damn cheap. I live 60+ miles away from the closest MLB team (Dodgers; LA is huuuuge and I'm at the far northwest corner of it), and all the MiLB teams are farther still. Although I do have a friend who works in Bakersfield now, so the thought of trying to go see the Blaze when the 66ers are in town has crossed my mind. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I lived in Sacramento for a while and the Rivercats were one of the best things about it. The stadium was a pretty easy bike ride away from where I lived - just a pleasant little jaunt across the river - and tickets were like 10 dollars to sit on the outfield lawn.

Man. I miss Sacramento.

Sorry, this post didn't really end up being mostly about MiLB at all.
