lmao, I remember seeing a crazy amount of terrible Aragorn/Legolas manips. The mpreg mention earlier in the thread reminds me that I saw a lot of those for that pairing too. The Legolas ones were bad enough, but there was something extra funny about coming across the odd pregnant Aragorn manip every once in a while. It was probably the beard that did it. Sure, there were also fandoms for things like Harry Potter that had (or have, idk) a ton of terrible manips too, but there was something special about LOTR
