Not surprised given that he up and quit on Letterman (when he was doing the late late show) with almost no notice to take the Daily Show job.

Uh... Kilborn had already been at the Daily Show for a couple years before doing the Late Late Show and he didn't leave the LLS until 5-6 years after he left the Daily Show.
