(Anonymous) 2015-08-13 02:37 am (UTC)(link)on topic, Utena was one of those shows where I knew a group of devoted fans who'd occasionally tell me to check out a scene or two if they were watching, but I've yet to really watch it. It always seemed so very ott and larger than life that I feel like I'd have to be in a certain frame of mind to even want to start, but it also seems like it's good (pacing-wise, at least) for a binge watch.
