He was an unfunny sexist dick. His whole stick was smug superiority. One bit that made me cringe was when Jerri Manthey, of Survivor fame, was on--she'd just done a Playboy spread and while she was talking he literally shut her up by dismissing her to open up the issue and ogle the pictures of her. She played it off gracefully but it was incredibly--incredibly--rude. And I'm sure the whole time he thought it was funny, in that smug, fratboy, dudebro way.

JS transformed the show.

ETA: Just did some followup research--the Manthey appearance was on a different show, CK had taken over the Late Late SHow (and so was not on the Daily Show). Sam shtick, different show.
