Yeah, that's the big concern I have with asexuality. I sure as hell felt asexual for a while, but it turned out it was because of health issues. Now that those are taken care of, it turns out I'm actually sexual.

In your case, did you just have a low sex drive and that changed once you got your health issues taken care of? Or were you not attracted to anyone before and you were after they were taken care of? The latter I've never heard of so I'm curious.

Same here. There are a lot of fairly common health issues with low libido as one of the symptoms, so I always raise my eyebrows at people who identify as being asexual before they ever get checked out to make sure that none of those issues are at play.
