My firm headcanon is that AT LEAST DURING CANON EVENTS, Aziraphale and Crowley looked more or less ambiguously white.
I believe this is canon when I’m not feeling so generous (AUs are not bad!). This is because of the nature of the story, and even if I disregard that, how Shadwell interacts with them.
I’m not committed to any headcanon about their human forms after their past or future discorporations.
So whenever I see well-meaning artists make them unambiguously not white in an unspecified time period, I think “Whatever, but this cannot be Notpocalypse era for me.”
Other characters? I don’t see them often enough to complain about how they’re presented.
I have never lived in the UK and am not white by any definition. Make of that what you will.
