The way I see it, Daryl is just as likely to live as to die. (And I would be okay with either, as long as it's done right. Frankly, when Daryl goes I probably won't have as much incentive to watch either, but that's not because Daryl is the best character in anything ever, but because I'm not feeling TWD as much lately in general. Daryl, Carol and Michonne are my main reasons for caring about this show right now. I like the rest of the cast, but not to the same extent.)

No I haven't read spoilers, but spoilers and speculation don't mean much to me. (As kaijin has said, Daryl has been rumored to die for seasons now. I've felt he'd die by now too, but it hasn't happened. For all the writers love killing off characters, they like keeping Daryl around; it's good for ratings. Maybe they're waiting for the final season to do it? Pretty sure it has to happen eventually.)
