Nope. If you're posting somewhere where frIends and not just members of a comm would see it, you might ask how they're doing/what they've been up to in general, and as the conversation turns back to you've been doing, you could say, "well, I wrote this story," and hope they're interested enough to inquire further.

Otherwise no. It's jyst tacky.

Not really, no. At best, you'll sound needy and pathetic. If you're uncertain, doublecheck to make sure that you're posting in the right place, that your tags are on point, that your post isn't flocked or filtered wrongly, etc. Ask a friend to take a look at the fic to see if there are any problems, maybe? And also consider that LJ is a lot quieter than it used to be, and you should probably post your fic to AO3 and/or Fanfiction.net if you haven't already done so.
