To be fair, this wasn't a quiz. She volunteered this wildly inaccurate information on her own, from a completely open-ended prompt. That suggests she felt a certain degree of confidence in her opinion.

People can have confidence in wrong opinions. That doesn't make them fake.

The point is, saying someone is a fake GEEK because they don't know everything about everything that could be remotely considered geeky is fucking stupid and holding them to an unrealistic standard. You and OP don't think she's a fake geek girl because of this, you think she's a fake geek girl because you really, really want her to be.
