Thinking you know something and turning out not to isn't the same as pretending. Also, what geek cred? Since when does anyone get geek cred for knowing about the Stooges?

How much geek cred do you honestly think people get for knowing who the Marx Brothers are? I'm just curious about what circles you hang out in.

How are the Stooges geeky?

If anything, it just means you have bad taste in comedy, or are old, or both. I have never heard them associated with geek culture in my life.
