I'm afraid I'm not familiar with French animation, but I do like the Franco-Belgian comics I've read!

Off the top of my head: Asterix, Tintin, Yoko Tsuno, Spirou et Fantasio, Blacksad... there's a bunch more, but I'm drawing a blank right now.

Oh yeah, and everything by Joann Sfar! Joann Sfar is the best.

I've been meaning to check out Asterix for a while. I should really get around to doing that. I think I've heard of a couple of the others (in addition to Tintin obviously) but I know nothing about them. I'll look into them. Thanks!
