What childhood shows scared you? Which certain episodes and such? Let's all be scared together!

Pokemon - when Sabrina was turning them all into dolls. She was so creepy. D:

Can I mention a book instead? Because the first thing that came to mind was the Goosebumps book Piano Lessons Can Be Murder. I had nightmares about that one.

That episode of Alfred J. Kwak when they're in the pyramids, and the eyes of the wall paintings were following him. I was so creeped out, and for ages after when going to sleep I used to imagine glowing eyes watching me from dark corners of my room.

Rugrats did sometimes as a kid.

Oh my god, Chuckie's Wonderful Life. One of the most disturbing It's a Wonderful Life parodies/homages I've ever seen. I remember being scared of the dream one too.

Does anyone remember this kid's show? It was called Candle Cove and I must have been 6 or 7. I never found reference to it anywhere so I think it was on a local station around 1971 or 1972. I lived in Ironton at the time. I don't remember which station, but I do remember it was on at a weird time, like 4:00 PM.

it seems really familiar to me…..i grew up outside of ashland and was 9 yrs old in 72. candle cove…was it about pirates? i remember a pirate marionete at the mouth of a cave talking to a little girl

YES! Okay I'm not crazy! I remember Pirate Percy. I was always kind of scared of him. He looked like he was built from parts of other dolls, real low-budget. His head was an old porcelain baby doll, looked like an antique that didn't belong on the body. I don't remember what station this was! I don't think it was WTSF though.

That halloween movie where some brother is trapped as an immortal cat? And the cat gets run over? Then he slowly inflates and you can hear the ribs cracking as he does so?

No.

Hocus Pocus. I remember screaming at it as a kid, which no-one in my family ever lets me live down. I don't even remember which part caused the scream.

I believe so, I've only seen it once since and it had already started on TV so perpetually forgetting the name.

Doctor Who. In particular Seeds of Doom People turning into plants AAUUURGGHH. So traumatised I couldn't watch my favourite show for more than a year, even the spooky theme music made me run out of the room and hide. I'm not actually that old, I watched reruns.

I think I was creeped out be the fake eyes of the Fendahl Core (creepy gold-skinned woman) is "Image of the Fendahl".

I saw a trailer for The Nightmare Before Christmas as a child and was too scared to watch it for so long, I didn't see it until I was about 27. The character design just terrified me.

the oogieboogie was the only character in that movie who really scared me.

this weird animation i watched in New Zealand one time

it's drawn in that old-fashion style (the one with the cutout eyes), and theres this guy working as a scientist with these bugs. and he has a pet dog.

the bugs escape and everyone gets turned into bugs.

just this really creepy upbeat animation style with a "zombie virus" plotline.

An episode of Battle of the Planets that ended on a cliffhanger with Princess eaten by plant monsters.

The episode where Baltar is trapped in a tomb.

^G-Force did this one too - and I never saw how it ended because I think they skipped that episode in the run or I somehow missed it when it aired!

I couldn't watch that show because it scared the beejesus outof me. lol

I remember a rerun of the Doctor Who 3rd Doctor story "The Green Death" where a shot of the dangerous giant larva freaked me out. I was probably around 5 or 6 at the time.

Several Doctor Who episodes scared the crap out of me within the last few years! I can't handle that stuff.
