LOL holy shit.

I just...that statement. "Some of us take the history of comedy in this country seriously." Hahaha. I wish you and the anon who agreed could hear how stupid that sounds.

If you think it's stupid to think seriously about an important artform, that doesn't make you look smart. It makes you look stupid but smug about it.

You know, it's not too late to throw your hat in the ring for the Republican nomination. You seem to have the basic qualification down.

Wooooow.

People are being tremendous douchebags here. This community is swimming with super fans who will pole vault across a room to correct a complete stranger for misquoting a character from some show they are absolutely balls-to-the-wall obsessed with, so I really don't follow the "get a load of this moron" circle jerk this has turned into. It has seriously curled my lip. Especially considering the secret in question was about whether or not Felicia Day is a fake geek, not whether or not it's okay to be mad when something you consider personally important is effed up by someone you personally feel should know better.

You all are gross.

People are mad specifically because the person's trying to argue that Felicia Day is a fake geek

And also, I'm pretty sure anyone inflating the importance of knowing the details of their fandom to this degree would get ragged on, regardless of what the fandom is. They might also want to correct the person, but they would try to be, you know, nicer about it, and not consider it a moral failing. I think people here mostly try to be pretty chill about demanding that strangers agree with the importance of their fandom, and judging other fans, and I think that's a good thing.

I'm sorry if that's gross though!

This comment is gold.

I heard it in Yakov Smirnoff's voice. XD
