"Friends with a pedophile" is a huge red flag for me.

Not about the actual person or their supposedly-pedophilic friend, god no. About the one trying to call them out as a shitty person on that basis. That is sketchy as hell, and a perfect example of the kind of guilt-by-association all-or-nothing two-minutes-hate nightmare that online callout culture has become. If you don't have actual evidence of an actual person committing an actual crime, I'm going to assume you're just some asshole repeating adolescent gossip as moral condemnation because you want the dopamine hit of self-righteousness without actually understanding anything you're talking about.

I like how people forget that some younger people who are friends with pedophiles can also be groomed/manipulated by them.

Yeah.

I think they just prefer to interpret in the worst way, that they support pedophilia.

They never stop to think that the person might be a minor who's been manipulated and groomed by the pedophile and may actually be a victim of them.

Somebody accused of something on the internet is a whole lot different then say, a registered sex offender in your area. But lets even assume that's accurate in this case. Logically, you want to help that person avoid grooming/manipulation.

Shouting at them their drawings are racist and oh also fuck their friend, that's really going to make them realize their friend is bad news, yeah.

As it stands, I know nothing about this situation but as anon said above, call out internet culture is short on proof and slow on forgiveness.
