Hmmm... Well, partly, in general because I like the idea of something looking one way on the surface but being another in reality, and specifically the idea of something that looks monstrous but is humane. I like the idea of, you know, working from the shadows but still playing an important part. I like the idea of loyalty and that kind of thing. I don't know, I just find a lot of the themes to do with them really meaty and good.
