I need to write a quick story where the only parameter is first-time (without sex). Can anyone give me prompts for a story that would be about 2000 words?

A and B go on several dates. A keeps expecting B will initiate sex but B never does. A keeps dropping heavier and more obvious hints but B keeps failing to pick up on them and A has no clue what to do next because this is the first time they've tried to build a relationship not based on sex.
