I raided my Life Goals board to find these. Currently it's 90% dog related. Priorities!

I used to love camping with my dog. One of my favourite holiday spots was pet friendly, and they let us bring our dogs and horses.
They adjust quickly because there's so much fun stuff to do and smell, and by the end of the day they're ready to sleep anyway, so they're quiet in the tent. The only problems I ever had were muddy paws and trying to persuade the dog that there was no room in my sleeping bag.

I hope social media is prepared for how many photos I'm going to take of my next dog.

WISTFUL SIGH.

So much work is getting the dog obedience up to scratch and ready for a road trip to some obscure location where we don't have to worry about people.

Where was your fave spot? My old fave spot was down in tassie but that's too far now so I need to go find new fave spots.

Also it is me my mobile has logged me out again.

Mogendoura Farm (near Moruya, NSW) was the place we took the dogs and horses to. They allow dogs in the cabins there. They're a family-owned place so it's very quiet.

As for camping, BIG4 parks are pet friendly, but you have to tell them in advance you're bringing your dog and agree to keep the dog on the leash while you're on the grounds and clean up after it. They're dead quiet if you go pretty much any time of the year that isn't around Christmas. We've often been the only people on the non-powered sites.

Lots of camping areas are pet friendly these days, actually. Or they advertise as being pet friendly, anyway. You never really know how happy they are about it until you ask.

I wish I could buy a van to just drive around in and explore like that blog. That looks like the life I want.
