Well, take "Madam Secretary". That's a present-dayish political thriller series, of sorts, I gather. And what utterly threw me out of it was that the President is white in that series. Like come on, plz reflect today's actuality.

Okay, most of the people running for pres right now are white males. If one of them gets elected are you gonna be like "nope America, I cannot suspend my disbelief when you are being this lazy?"
