Roommate rants.

We have a fridge with a built in ice-maker. It has a crushing mechanism and then the ice will go into a chute. Simple, right? Sometimes the chute will get filled up with ice and jam. My roommates will always go up to the ice maker and try to get ice. When it's jammed and won't deposit ice, they shrug and leave. This backs ice up all the way to the crusher, which FUCKING BREAKS IT. I'm the only one out of four roommates who will remove jams and fix the fucking thing. I'm so fucking pissed.

I hear you on lame useless roommates. My roommates do absolutely nothing, too. My issue is no one else takes out the trash, no matter how many times I mention it (which is usually in a joking, light-hearted way to no one feels attacked... apparently my mistake). Playing chicken with roommates about taking out the trash = no one wins. Can't wait to move out.

I've gotten used to my roommate's many alarms. However, last night I had trouble sleeping. And she'd fallen asleep on the couch. I was awake at 5:30. She officially gets up at 7. She came back to the room at 5:30 with all her alarms. WTF? At that point, stay out in the living room. Don't be a jerk.
