The Daily Show person is JON Stewart.

John Stewart was the guy who originally wrote "Daydream Believer" back in the '60s.

Huh. I was thinking that if Jon Stewart did a tribute album to The Monkees, I'd be tempted to buy it. Mostly because he's so endearingly off-key when he sings.
