In the book I am currently reading, the very first chapter begins with a warning for "portrayal of male sexuality".

This book was published in 1994.

That sounds more Puritanical than anything else. Anti-sex people who have thought sexuality is a bad, warning-worthy thing have existed for ages, but that's not the defining trait of SJW

Yeah I think that's a "warning: here there be smut" rather than the SJW-tumblr-variety of trigger warnings. Smut warnings have existed forever.

Of course people like that existed pre-tumblr, but it's not unfair to say the site has a huge group that cultivates those attitudes.
