I could see that.

I guess I believe the whole "decided to sacrifice self for spira" thing but I always imagined Yuna feeling immense pressure from a young age to do so because of her father's shadow and everyone placing those expectations on her to follow in his footsteps, so it was never much of a choice to begin with.

That's how I saw it too. I never felt she wanted to so much as she felt it was her responsibility and no matter what her personal feelings or desires, it was something she would go through with.

That's how I viewed it as well. Sure, it was technically her choice, but you gotta think that there was a lot of pressure/coercion (explicit or not) influencing it
