That's funnily appropriate. I think it fits 7-11 in a way. I always thought of convenience stores as a sort of dream world.

I didn't expect to see so many covers of that song by Japanese artists on YouTube. Some used Japanese lyrics, I wonder if they were direct translations? Also, something about the melody or the tempo or the piano parts makes me want to see it used in an anime opening.
