Why shouldn't it be? Is it wrong that they believe they WILL be together forever even if it ends up not being that way? It doesn't make the love that they had (or, according to you, thought they had because they weren't mature enough bla bla) count any less.

I've heard of people who were on birth control, used a condom that didn't break and still got pregnant.

Yes, Birth Control doesn't work sometimes, I do understand that.

I'm just not talking about it- im talking about kids having unprotected sex, which is majorly stupid.

I'm not sure about the circumstances, it was an anecdote in a post related to birth control wank and such. But the person telling it swears the condom wasn't broken, that they'd test them each time to make sure :/ Probably means the sperm got there at some other point, but still. You could take every 'normal' protection and still get pregnant anyway.

You were talking about any teenager who had sex. I was saying that if you have sex responsibly (that is, using protection) but you just get unlucky and it fails and they end up with a kid, I don't see how they were stupid.

But I'm saying that if a teenager has unprotected sex, they're an idiot. If they use BC, still pretty stupid for having sex at a young age but at least they tried to be safe etc etc

Yeah, 's what I said in the other comment thread. And I do agree with that, mostly. I think anyone having unprotected sex (if they're aware of the ways to protect themselves) when they don't want a kid is being stupid.

Thats true... but if an adult has unprotected sex and is financially stable in their own lives, then at least they should be able to afford to take care of the kid/s. A 16 year old (in most cases) wouldn't be able to take care of themselves, let alone a kid... financially or emotionally.

HAHA! Just because you are an adult DOES NOT mean you are able to support your children, you moron. Obviously you've never heard of people without jobs on welfare. Or you've never heard about people who are going through school and don't have the expendable income to use on a baby. Or people who are just plain old irresponsible! MANY people's parents (that I know of) had children at the "wrong" time in their life - because there really isn't ever a right time to have a baby. My boyfriend's parents were heroin addicts - and his mother had SEVEN children in total, 5 of them are not in her care and haven't been since they were small children.

You need to open your eyes, BB. You're missing a HUGE point. It's not the fact that they are teenagers - it's the fact that every person and their situation is unique and being a teenager =/= irresponsible, gullible, stupid.
