Am I really a "misogynist" when I am, in fact... Encouraging girls to be more proactive in the relationship, not let themselves be taken advantage of or pressured into sex by their boyfriends, be strong and tell them no, generally grow some damn balls and do something about it if they don't want to get pregnant. Etcetc.

I don't see where I'm coming across as a woman hater at all. If anything, tag me as a misandrist, since -- as a few people have kindly been pointing out for me so far -- I in fact hate males more than females. (Thus, the fact that the comment you replied to basically reads, "The girl needs to take control if she doesn't want to get pregnant, because the guy sure as hell isn't thinking about it in most cases. If she gets pregnant, it's more than likely her fault.")

I don't care about being an asshole, though. If having a different opinion makes me an asshole, great. I will wear that badge.

That said, I will probably take your advice and at least not post anymore. I'm not getting anywhere in this argument, and you guys obviously sure aren't with me, especially not since you guys are basically all regurgitating the same shit back to me over and over again. So. Good night!

The girl needs to take control if she doesn't want to get pregnant, because the guy sure as hell isn't thinking about it in most cases. If she gets pregnant, it's more than likely her fault.

And right there is where the disconnect is.

It's not HER fault the guy isn't thinking about it. It's his. You don't seem to get that, and that's the problem.

I do seem to get it. My point is that if he's not thinking about it, it shouldn't even be a problem as long as she is. If the girl doesn't want to get pregnant, take the fucking pill, tell that asshole to put on a condom or gtfo. No, it's not her responsibility to baby the guy and make sure he wears one. But there's tons of other options if the guy isn't thinking -- which they usually aren't.

Like I said in some comment somewhere else, though, neither party in this argument is getting anywhere. We're both essentially arguing with a wall. Maybe I fucking fail at typing, but 90% of you guys are missing what I'm trying to say entirely. So. I'm done.
