Ah, thank you! I had vague awareness of there being some kind of terrorism-related thing, but I didn't really know the details. And I still haven't read Night on the Galactic Railroad, to my shame. (There's also a significant reference to it in the Hatoful Boyfriend midquel Holiday Star; I suspect the book is kind of significant in Japan.)
