Murder is always worse than rape...

Fudge…what I meant to say is that Murder isn't always PERCEIVED as worse than rape because there are reasons to murder that most people could understand but understanding rape is much more difficult to understand.

If you find out that someone abused your child, you go to their house and kill them, I think you'll find quite a few people that would completely understand why/how you could do that even if you were a murderer.

But almost no one I know could understand the thought process behind raping someone.
