Bullshit. There is still too much stigma and hatred directed at women who have been raped. This increased awareness actually lowers the numbers of reported rapes because women know that no-one will listen, or care, and they will have to endure horrors if they decide to even try and pursue justice, and in the end the guy won't even be punished even if hes found guilty.

You want to see the proof that these reports are not being made? You want the statistics to show that the statistics are a false positive? There are no statistics, but how about instead of treating women like numbers you go out there and fucking TALK to women who have been raped? Actually, don't you seem like the kind of person who would demand they prove they were raped. If you were a human being and you went out there and talked to these women you would see how many of them never report what happened to them because they feel there is just no point. Because they are scared of talking to people Just. like. YOU!
