OP of the comment you're replying to.

I agree that things need to change. I just don't think that men who rape don't already know what they're doing is wrong. I think sometimes they pretend to in non-stranger rape cases because they believe that way they can get away with it, and sadly they're often right.

To say that they're not aware of their crime, to me, minimises the absolutely awful thing they're doing. I think ridding our culture of rape myths and victim blaming would do a lot more to help the cause than saying that men need to be taught something they're already taught from the time they're a tiny toddler ("It's wrong to hurt other people.")
