But gender's a social construct so you can't have a biological basis for feeling like a different gender.

That doesn't make trans people's rights any less, of course.

Plus I think racial dysphoria can be a thing, especially among mixed children who heavily favor the looks of one parent but may identify more with the other.

except for all the biological basis we have for trans people's brains being mapped differently than the gender they were assigned...? if that's not biological basis, what is?

The braint thing only explains their body issues. Not the wish to be called with gendered names, pronouns, etc, which don't even exist in literally every other culture on earth that isn't the one the particular trans-person was raised in.

Biologically, there's zero difference between a transwoman and a man who wants a female-looking body. The idea that wanting a female-looking body makes you a woman and means your name must be "Molly" instead of "John" and your specifically English-language pronouns must be "she" instead of "he" or "they" or "xlz" is purely a social construct.

Oh please. What pronouns do you use? And have you ever been threatened with violence for your gender presentation?
